Who Would Have Thought - General George Custer


In 1876, General George Custer and 200 of his men were killed in an historic battle.  On the other side of the world, four local businessmen in Balmain were discussing their keen interests in lawn bowls.  Four years later, the Balmain Bowling Club was formed.  Who would have thought that the Balmain Bowling Club’s future, was being discussed at the same time as the Battle of the Little Bighorn.
