

Finola Healy established her restaurant in BBC in June 2005. She arrived in Australia from Cork in Ireland in 1990 and has been working in the restaurant game since 1995. Finola won the hearts of the Balmain locals cooking at the Welcome Hotel prior to joining BBC.
This high class family-friendly spacious restaurant offers an a la carte menu that has received high praise in recent reviews. The large floor area provides the ideal setting for discerning gastronomes with family groups and disabled patrons are well catered for by the open plan vista.
Finola’s was commended in a review appearing in the Weekend section of the Daily Telegraph 22-23 December 2007. Michael Hampton wrote: “Finola’s beef and stout pie ($16.50) would make a homesick leprechaun weep into his Guinness”.
Finola’s also provides a bar menu as well as Finger foods and BBQ’s on request. The prices listed in the Cocktail and BBQ menus can be varied to suit your group’s needs.
Functions are catered for by arrangement such as Birthdays, Weddings, Anniversaries, Buck & Hens Parties etc. Special menus are available throughout the year on those special days including St. Patrick’s Day, Father’s & Mother’s Day, Christmas in July, Melbourne Cup, etc.
Vegetarian meals and special cuisines are available on request.
Tourist groups are very welcome to enjoy the unique opportunity of barefoot bowling together with variable cuisine provided by Finola’s.
Baby change facilities are available in the ladies restroom in Finola’s Restaurant.
Fionola’s Restaurant is open 12noon-3pm Tuesday to Sunday; 6-11.30 pm Tuesday to Saturday and feed the family early on Sundays 5-10pm. Closing times may be varied at the discretion of the Restaurant. Please note: the menu in the main restaurant is different from from the Bar Menu.
